Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use taigacreativestudios.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We keep it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
Two companies run different parts of this website.
Taiga Miniatures Inc. operates the store. It is responsible for your account, your orders, payments, subscriptions and delivery.
- Incorporated in Wyoming, United States
- 30 North Gould Street, STE R, Sheridan, WY 82801
Taiga Creative Studios Limited owns the website and the brand. It is responsible for the content you read, the contact form, our newsletter, and the analytics and advertising described below.
- Incorporated in Hong Kong, Certificate of Incorporation No. 78686064
- Unit 1009, 10/F., Hung Hom Commercial Centre, Tower B, 37 Ma Tau Wai Road, Hung Hom, Hong Kong
Each company is responsible for its own part. For anything about your privacy, write to privacy@taigacreativestudios.com — one address for both, and we will route your request to the right company.
2. Where we operate
Our store sells and ships to the United States only. We do not offer our products to customers in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, and we do not direct our advertising to people there.
If you are outside the United States, please do not place an order or send us personal information through this site.
3. What we collect
When you create an account or place an order: your name, email address, password (stored encrypted), billing and shipping address, phone number if you give one, and your order history.
We never see or store your full card number. Payments go directly to Stripe, which handles them for us.
When you use the contact form: your first name, email address, subject, message, and any file you choose to attach.
When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
When you use the wishlist: the products you save, linked to an identifier stored in your browser.
Automatically, as you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived here, and how you interact with the site. Part of this is measured by software running on our own server. The rest is collected by the third parties in section 6, and only if you agree to it.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as California law defines it — no government IDs, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, health data, or information about your race, religion, sexual orientation or union membership. Please do not send anything like that through the contact form.
4. Where it comes from
Almost everything above comes from you directly, or from your device as you use the site. We also receive limited information from our payment processor (whether a payment succeeded, and fraud signals) and from advertising platforms (whether an ad led to a visit).
5. Why we use it
- To create and run your account, so you can log in and see your orders
- To process your orders, take payment, and ship what you bought
- To manage subscriptions once we launch them
- To answer your questions and provide support
- To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the site secure
- To send our newsletter, if you asked for it
- To understand how the site is used and make it better
- To advertise our miniatures and measure whether our ads work
We do not use your personal information for anything unrelated to the above, and we do not use automated decision-making that has a legal effect on you.
6. Cookies, tracking, and who receives your data
Cookies that keep your cart and your login working are set without asking, because the site cannot function without them. Everything else — preferences, analytics, advertising — is set only after you agree through our consent banner.
Our banner is provided by Cookiebot, which also stores a record of your choice as proof of consent. The complete and always-current list of cookies — names, providers, purposes, and how long each lasts — is in our Cookie Declaration at taigacreativestudios.com/cookie-policy. You can change or withdraw your choice there at any time.
Beyond cookies, these are the companies that receive personal information from us, and why:
| Recipient | What they do |
| Stripe | Processes card payments, runs fraud and risk checks |
| Hostinger | Hosts the website and delivers our newsletter |
| Google (Analytics 4, Tag Manager) | Measures site traffic and behaviour — only with your consent |
| Hotjar | Records how visitors move through pages — only with your consent |
| Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform | Advertising and remarketing — only with your consent |
| Meta (Facebook) | Advertising and remarketing — only with your consent |
| Advertising and remarketing — only with your consent | |
| Microsoft Advertising (Bing) | Advertising and remarketing — only with your consent |
| Cookiebot | Manages and records your consent choice |
Taiga Miniatures Inc. and Taiga Creative Studios Limited also share customer and order information with each other where it is needed to fulfil your order or answer your question.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
7. Your choices about tracking
Do we sell or share your personal information?
We do not sell your personal information for money.
However, under California law our use of advertising cookies counts as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising — because Google, Meta, Reddit and Microsoft can use what they learn here to show you ads elsewhere.
You can stop this at any time:
- Decline or withdraw marketing cookies in our Cookie Declaration
- Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our site footer
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or extension — we detect and honour that signal automatically
- Write to us at privacy@taigacreativestudios.com
We have not sold or shared the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16, and we do not intend to.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how that signal should be interpreted, so we do not respond to it.
We do honour the Global Privacy Control signal, which is a recognised standard, and you can turn off all non-essential tracking yourself through our Cookie Declaration.
8. Where your data is handled
We are a small, distributed team. Your personal information is stored and processed in the United States and may be accessed by our staff and contractors located in Kazakhstan, and by the service providers listed in section 6.
We require anyone who handles this data on our behalf to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we set.
9. How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
| Account information | While your account is open. If you close it, deleted within 30 days — except records we must keep for tax purposes |
| Orders, invoices, payment records | 4 years from the end of the tax year, as required for tax and accounting |
| Contact form messages and attachments | 24 months, then deleted |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe. We then keep your email on a suppression list so we do not accidentally email you again |
| Consent records | 12 months, after which we ask you again |
| Google Analytics data | 14 months |
| Hotjar session recordings | 12 months |
10. Your privacy rights
If you live in California, or in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to
- Access a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your personal information, unless the law requires us to keep it
- Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising (see section 7)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — we will not refuse service, charge you more, or give you a worse experience
How to make a request. Email privacy@taigacreativestudios.com. We will confirm we received it within 10 days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may take up to another 45 days.
We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not hand your information to someone else. If you use an authorized agent, we will ask for proof that you gave them permission.
If we say no. You can ask us to reconsider by replying to our decision. We will review it again and give you a written answer with our reasons. If you are still unsatisfied, you may complain to your state Attorney General.
11. Children
This website is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
12. Email from us
We only send marketing email to people who asked for it. Every message has an unsubscribe link, and it works — one click, no questions, no login required. Email about an order you actually placed is not marketing, and you will receive it regardless.
13. Security
The whole site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored encrypted. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so card numbers never touch our systems.
No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong, we will tell you.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will tell you directly, by email or a notice on the site.
If we start selling to other regions, this policy will be extended before we do.
