TAIGA CREATIVE STUDIOS
WITH CARE FOR YOUR RPG EXPERIENCE

OUR MISSION...

… is simple: to make the creative process accessible, exciting, and inspiring. We want everyone to experience the magic of building their own worlds and feel the joy of bringing even the boldest ideas to life.

We grow alongside our community, listening closely and valuing every voice. Our strength comes from dialogue, from our ability to adapt, evolve, and constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible. Every new model we create is not just another release—it’s a testament to shared creativity, fueled by the passion and energy of our community.

How It All Started

April 2020

We began our journey in April 2020 as a 3D printing company, experimenting with different ideas before focusing on proxy miniatures for wargames. Early production was outsourced, but this was just the beginning.

Growing and Learning

August 2020

By August, the number of orders had increased, and to keep up with both speed and quality, we decided to open our own production facility. This was a significant step that gave us more control over the quality of our miniatures.

Our First Office

Autumn 2020

In the autumn of 2020, we moved into our very first office! It was a huge milestone for us. We started working more efficiently and managing our operations under one roof.

THE BIRTH OF DakkaDakka.Store

October 2020

On October 4, 2020, we officially launched DakkaDakka.Store. We picked this date in honor of “Orktober,” a nod to the Warhammer community we love.

A Big Shift

February 2022

We made a decision to shift our focus to digital products and offer STL files for 3D printing. This lets us reach customers all around the world with no shipping headaches! We launched our Patreon page, giving fans a way to support us and get exclusive content.

First Campaign on Kickstarter

August 2022

We took another big step by launching our first campaign on Kickstarter under DakkaDakka.Store – Dawnguard Army. This campaign wasn’t successful, but it taught us a lot.

Regular Campaigns on Kickstarter

June 2023

We started regularly launching campaigns on Kickstarter and one of our first campaigns, Full Metal Brotherhood, marked the beginning of our ongoing success on the platform.

Expanding the Universe

2024–2025

We expanded into new directions with Dakka.Fantasy and Dakka.Terrain, exploring new settings and product lines. We also introduced new visual styles, including grimdark-inspired projects like Torquemada’s Inquisition.

First Collaboration

September 2025

We relaunched Taiga Miniatures and collaborated with Scott Knees, the creator of the Planet Shark game. We’ve created a full line of cute shark miniatures for this game.
See the campaign here.

Building Worlds

Now

Today, we’re evolving beyond miniatures. With Taiga Creative Studios, we’re focused on creating original tabletop games and universes – starting with Sounds of War.

First Alpha Legion squad battle ready!

This is the first time i manage to paint a whole squad on a single weekend, this is so satisfying!

Again, it’s a pleasure to paint these models from @dakkadakka.store

Pre-supports were perfect and it makes a great proxy. The details were enough to add detail but not too much that it was a pain to paint.

Loved this model! First ever printed and painted Orc. Still new to the hobby, so pardon the imperfections, this is only my 3rd finished miniature. Like most people I dig the Orcs goofy nature of “Shoot first a thousand times and ask questions later, if we remember what questions do”, but this model really leans into that in a great way. Keep up the great work, your models are awesome!

Ridiculously easy to print and fun to speed paint. Magnetized the melta so it can be swapped for a plasma on the gunner. Using these for a Legionary Kill Team. Dakkadakka never disappoints.

As for the print quality, from what I was told, it was easy to print, with well places supports that were then simple to remove. As for painting process itself, figure is posed well enough that you could probably paint whole thing without any sub-assemblies, I did it with the left hand off, but would be quite easy to do so with it fully assembled. Design of the figure improved somewhat over time – while both guns were fine to me, hair switching from first iteration to the latter was a good move, as it fit the character better. What is more important, though, for a painter, was just right amount of details – not too many, but enough to build visual interest.Overall, had a good time painting Darius 😁

I had a great time painting this model because the sculpting work was very well done, making it easy for me to use my preferred method, which involves a combination of airbrush and brush techniques. A good sculpture made with quality material is essential for a proper painting process and doesn’t pose a complicated challenge for any painter. It’s important to consider this, as not all figures meet these requirements. Overall, it’s a fantastic product full of amazing details! Besides, this figure is great for trying out different color schemes and using lots of painting techniques. It’s really versatile and fun to paint!

I really enjoyed painting this guy, he came together quickly and has the right level of detail to be interesting without having to spend hours poring over the model (if you don’t want to)!
The file printed off nicely and assembly was very simple!

When @dakkadakka.store asked me to paint and review a mini for their upcoming Grimworld Kickstarter I was so excited! I’ve always wanted a company to ask me to paint dwarfs.

The Voidland Dwarfs faction have an excellent dark, heavy metal aesthetic and would be great for use in tons of fantasy games.

The models printed perfectly in a pre-supported file and had a ton of good detail and open space for some fun blending and shading.
