Carcass
A legendary private military company. Their skeletons grow over time – the boon of the bone carapace devil, Carcenkarrion. They are able to create incredibly powerful fusions of bone and metal – weapon-laden constructs and re-animate marksmen.
They are well known for their signature power armor, their formation tactics, their mastery of gun kata, and their stratagems, which rely primarily on overwhelming firepower.
Gargamox
They have no pact with a devil for their abilities, but instead are granted it freely and almost randomly by the Filth Devil, who siphons it away from dead and dying necromancers. Those that receive the gift are typically on the underbelly of society.
They are no less powerful than other necromancers, despite the defiled nature of their mastery over the Plague Winds that can scour flesh from bone.
Deadsouls
By sacrificing their souls to the Dead God Gormengorr, who will devour their essence upon their eventual death, the Deadsouls have inured themselves against other forms of spiritual corruption, making them extremely dangerous opponents.
They are capable of wielding spine blades and ancient curses that wither their foes to nothingness.
Abhorrers
An ancient heretic order. Its founder, monk-poet Henryk, suggested that the best way to fight the scourge of necromancy was to begin studying the dark arts. Abhorrers are unusual necromancers that practice their own Repentant Rites and are, at least in theory, opposed to the powers of hell, devils, and necromancy.
Their Starmetal Sword Arts are incredibly deadly and they are consummate monster wardens, and mercenaries.
Goregrinders
The Goregrinders are brutal, ferocious necro-warriors and speed freaks that gain their power from paying tithe to the Corpse Piler, an ancient and colossal devil of the machine forges. By fusing their own flesh and that of their minions with black-metal blades, devil blood injectors, and infernal engines, they pay homage to their machine god.
Igorri
Experimenters, scientists and traveling physicians, the Igorri have fallen into the darker sciences. The core originally hailed from a group of six old physician families that suffered from grotesque deformity, eventually resorting to a pact with the Multi-Colored Devil.
They are skilled surgeons, able to meld flesh as easily as clay – always pursuing the Greater Form, but unable to find it.
+Milestones
These miniatures will be unlocked as the campaign reaches its goals.
Steeplewracks
The feral Steeplewracks are part cult, part affliction. They worship the enormous flesh-eating owls that prowl the highest levels of the city, even offering their bodies as sustenance. The owls are the source of their power, drawing it from darker forces of the antediluvian world. Those whose fragile minds bend under the weight of slaughter sometimes see a color, called the Red Wet Hue. It consumes their thoughts, pushing them ever upwards – to the owls.
Hellminth
Their true origins uncertain, Hellminth begin their lives as pale larvae, mutating their hosts and fusing with them. As they gain intelligence, they develop a hive-like connection with their sires, with which they form Courts, warring enclave-cysts. At the apex of each Court are highly evolved Nephilim.
They live in decadence and dominion, perfecting their offspring, communing with the worm deities from which they siphon their necromancy, and tapping other forces beyond human imagination.
